Prof. Nurhan Ünüsan graduated from Nottingham University (the UK), Department of Food Engineering (B.Sc. (Hons)) with honours. She completed Master's degree in the Department of Food Hygiene and Technology at Selçuk University the Institute of Health Sciences and Ph.D. in the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at Hacettepe University the Institute of Health Sciences.

 Prof. Ünüsan received various Science Awards from Japan Cardiovascular Foundation, Japan National Institute of Nutrition and Health, and Science Incentive Awards from TUBITAK and TUBA. She worked as a consultant in the fields of "Nutrition in Schools" and "Community Health Nutrition" in the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Turkey. She carried out scientific research at European Union, TUBITAK, Selçuk University BAP, Nottingham University (the United Kingdom), the National Institute of Health and Nutrition (Tokyo, Japan), George Mason University (Washington DC, USA), Twente University (Enschede, Netherlands), Agrotech - Paris Institute of Life, Food and Environmental Sciences with a French government scholarship.

 LUXUN® is the result of a long term R&D that began in Paris and has resulted in the development of natural skincare products. As a result of her interest in cosmetics, she applied to the KOSGEB (Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization of Türkiye) (-Research Development, Innovation and Industrial Application Support Programme with her project "PROTOTOTYPE PRODUCTION OF NATURAL COSMETIC PRODUCTS" in 2016 and successfully completed it. The project aimed to produce healthy, natural, hygienic and environmentally friendly cosmetic products by ensuring the production of specially formulated natural cosmetic products developed by herself in Turkey.

Prof. Ünüsan received Aramotherapy education and diploma from Oxford College (England).Prof. Ünüsan is currently working as the Head of Nutrition and Dietetics Department at KTO Karatay University.
